Carlingford Multipurpose Learning Centre  FULLTIME DIPLOMA QUALIFIED – MATERNITY LEAVE POSITION

This is a fulltime position for a Diploma Qualified Educator (Maternity Leave) as approved by ACECQA. You will be working with other trained and experienced Educators, programming and planning based on EYLF for a group of children, and monitoring children's learning. We have a diverse cultural community promoting respect, tolerance and harmony amongst all stakeholders. As one of the Diploma Qualified Educators you will be expected to be fluent in the EYLF curriculum framework to provide a learning program in a play-based environment based on sound knowledge of child development.

Schedule

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday - Friday
  • Rotating roster
  • Monthly RDO
  • Off the floor programming time

  • Access to sector professional development Essential qualifications for the role:
  • Diploma approved by ACECQA
  • Current Approved Working with Children Check.
  • Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate/s (ACECQA Approved) or be willing to obtain
  • Current Child Protection Training or willing to obtain Essential attributes for the role:
  • Passionate about caring, nurturing and educating children.
  • Good understanding of the NQF – National Regulations, National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, professional, flexible and reliable
  • Ability to form and maintain positive relationships with children and families.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a passionate, committed, skilled team of educators that creates a positive, supportive and educational environment.

Morning Buds Early Learning

Job description:   We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable educator to join our little "family". Our primary aim is to provide a caring and loving play-based learning environment for the children we care for and teach. Applicants must be enthusiastic and competent of engaging children.

As an Early Years Educator, you will need to have an ACECQA accredited Diploma or Certificate III qualification in Children’s services, sound knowledge of the EYLF and child development, and experience working with children aged 2-5 years. You will need to hold a current NSW Working with Children Check clearance.

The Centre operates between 7:30am – 6pm and educator will be required to work rotating shifts within the spread of 7:30am and 6:15pm.

  • A passion for early childhood education and care (ECEC)
  • A team player mentality and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • A relevant qualification in ECEC

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
  • Planning and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice
  • Observing and documenting children’s learning and development
  • Communicating regularly with parents and families
  • Collaborating with colleagues to provide high-quality education and care
